A specialist big barbel rod consisting of a butt and two top sections- one, a standard tip with a 2lb test curve; the second, a spliced in quivertip with a 3oz test curve. With either tip the rod is recommended for use with lines between 7lb and 14lb.
The rod possesses a powerful, yet forgiving progressive action, which will not lock up under load and is designed to quickly subdue the runs of big fish. The 12ft Barbel doubles as a river carp rod when fish of a similar size are the target.
Strategically ringed for use with either a centrepin or fixed-spool reel.
